Hi y'all,

Come celebrate el Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) at 2032 Columbia Pike, #6, Arlington, VA 22204-- about a mile west of the new Air Force memorial. We will be serving black bean soup, chicken and/or rice and bean fajitas, homemade pico de gallo and guacamole, key lime pie, among other treats. We'll open the door to you at 6pm to come enjoy drinks and hear the real story of Cinco de Mayo.

Hey All,

As you can see, our little supper club has entered the Digital Age with our very own blog courtesy of Dave. You can bookmark this site and use it to find out updates about upcoming (and soon) past supper club evenings. For example, we can use this site to post pics from our dinners and to share the recipes that we make or pass on tips about the wine and other goodies that we enjoy together.

I also wanted to remind everyone that I need a final headcount by Friday afternoon, so that I make sure we are all set to go on Saturday evening. And for those of you interested in coming over before dinner to check out what this "pasta-making" is all about, I suggest that you arrive around 4:30pm and bring an apron or oversized shirt as pasta-making is a very "flour-y" business and I don't want you to mess up your clothes.

One last thing. . . Dave suggested that we try and come up for a catchier name for our little gang or at least for this site. As I have spent the entire week going through documents, I have not found my creative juices to be all that fruitful. Perhaps one of you has a bright idea?

Finally, thanks once again to Dave for his initiative on getting this site together. Can't wait to see y'all at our first event!
